Hey, I’m Ashley! Lover of beauty in all it’s forms🤍

I bet we have a few things in common. I’m just a regular working wife + mama trying to find the best natural products + foods to keep my family healthy while balancing the demands of everyday life.

I have spent 20+ years building a business + beauty career that has been all sorts of amazing (and a bit draining if I’m honest🤪). I built my version of the American dream, only to find out many days felt a little more like a nightmare of my own making.

Then life happened. Health issues crept in. Inflammation, fatigue, and brain fog began to feel like the norm instead of an occasional frustration. I would wake up every day feeling like I never slept only to look in the mirror to find my face beyond puffy like I had a little too much fun the night before.

I felt like a 40-year-old with dementia and found it was a struggle to stay awake as I would stand behind my salon chair. For a while, I just thought this was the norm of getting older. But research made me realize these issues were small signals to greater problems in the future.

And the old saying goes, when it rains, it pours. Tragedy, loss, and grief compounded on top of my already overwhelmed plate. But instead of breaking down (okay I maybe had my share of breakdown days), I decided to fight to change the fate of my future. In the midst, I found two saving graces…

  • ONE…I could make changes to what I put on and, in my body, to reverse the compounding symptoms and stop the minor health problems from turning into major ones down the road.
  • Two...my newly formed relationship with Jesus could carry me through anything (and I mean anything) I will walk through in this life. He would not just sustain me but fulfill every piece of my heart like nothing else ever had.

So needless to say, what holds my heart these days is just a little different than it used to be.

My greatest desire shifted from building a successful career to taking care of my sweet little family. My home + making it a healthy place is where my heart is. To be where my feet are + invest the best of me into our home, our health, and our faith.

While I still LOVE the beauty industry and enjoy my days working behind the chair, my priorities lie in the simple things like watching my daughter’s face light up as she greets me in the school pick up lane and sharing conversations about our days while we surround our kitchen island for a meal made with whole foods and a whole lot of heart.

If small and intentional changes could transform the trajectory of your family’s health + wellness, would you steal little tid-bits of time out of your chaotic schedule to make it happen?

In a world where distinguishing what is real can be so challenging and overwhelming, where do we start? How do we know what is truly good and natural for our homes + health, for our beauty + our bodies, for our faith + fulfillment?

Girl, I’ve got you!

Here are just a few helpful tools you will find here…

We ARE able to find ways of cultivating a holistic home with presence + persistence, with genuineness + an unwillingness to settle for anything less than what is truly best for ourselves + our families.

So here’s to simplicity + permissibility to jump in one toe at a time. We don’t need to change everything at once, but many little changes over time are what make a truly sustainable impact!

Stay in this place with me, where grace is the norm + perfection never expected. Not from me or by me + certainly not for you. Because I now know a little better + feel a little brighter, my hope is you will get to this place too! Walk with me on this journey to be fulfilled for now + forever by all things real + all things true.

I just have to say, I am forever grateful for the fires of life, and the wild + wonderous path that has now become my passion. This path of what is true in life, in beauty + our bodies. The natural things of this world colliding with the supernatural ways only the One who made us can ever really provide for.

Changing hair + homes + hearts,
