I pray that you give me great wisdom to be able to make the right decisions at work and carry out my duties and responsibilities.

The enemy may want to confuse me but l pray for clarity of mind in the work environment. 

Grant me great wisdom in the most difficult times and help me to listen to the wise advice of others regarding situations in my job. May l use the time and resources in the work environment wisely and honor your name always. In the name of Jesus Christ l pray. Amen.

Dear Father, you are the Most High God. The potential harm and danger in my workplace is causing me stress and fear. May l remain secure in your shadow where the enemy is defeated and rendered powerless. 

Send your angels to guard me and keep me as l go out of my home and come in. You are my refuge and l put all my confidence and trust in you.

Protect me from any object or person who intends to harm me. May l be covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen. 

Prayer for encouragement in the Lord 

There are times we need to seek for others to help us in our most difficult times. Having Christian friends and a church family can be a source of encouragement, comfort, and strength.

Dear God, thank you for the family and friends that surround me and offer sound advice and ways to cope with workplace stress. Thank you for those that pray for me and with me. When l feel discouraged and ready to give up help me to encourage myself in the Lord like David did. 

May l have confidence and faith in God’s plans for my life and my future. Holy Spirit remind me in those stressful trials that nothing is too hard for God. May l believe and hold onto the living hope we find in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

Prayer for peace in your place of work 

Work problems can make you lose you’re your peace.  They can make you anxious and unable to experience joy at home.

O Lord, there are times when l feel defeated by my anxious thoughts about the work environment I’m in. Restore my joy and give me peace of mind to be able to do your will. 

You are the God of peace and You are in control of my life. Help me not to be obsessed with the stressful situations I’m facing but rather to meditate on the promises in the Bible. I trust in You today to turn all these trials and tests into testimonies and grow my faith along the way. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
